Description

The PLANET IGS-4215 is a layer 2 industrial switch with 8 Ethernet gigabit ports, including 4 x PoE+
ports. The switch supplies 30 W per port and supports the usual Layer 2 functions, including VLAN, IGMP, and Spanning Tree. In addition, the smart PoE function automatically reboots the switch after 3 attempts with no response. Simultaneously, an alert is sent by E-mail to the network administrator. There is no need to send a technician for maintenance to reboot the switch.

Besides, the embedded programming schedule disconnects the power supply of idle devices connected to
the switch. It is possible to disable Wi-Fi hot-spots or telephones during the night, while keeping active the CCTV system.
