The PLANET IGS-4215 4P4T2S is a layer 2 industrial switch with 8 Ethernet Gigabit ports including 4 PoE+ ports. In addition, the 2 dual-speed SFP ports provide fiber optic connection.
The switch can supply 30 W per port. In addition, two dual-speed SFP ports are available for fiber optic connection. The switch supports the usual layer 2 functions, including VLAN, IGMP, and Spanning Tree, as well as a smart PoE management function. If after 3 attempts, there is no answer, the switch automatically reboots the device and sends an E-mail notification to the network administrator. There is no need to send a technician to reboot the switch.
The programming schedule disconnects the power supply of idle devices connected to the switch. It is
easier to disable Wi-Fi hot-spots or telephones during the night, while keeping active the CCTV system.
