The PLANET FGSD-1022VHP is a PoE+ switch equipped with 8 RJ-45 PoE+ ports and 2 Gigabit combo ports.
The 8 PoE+ ports supply the power to PoE 802.3af/at-compliant devices.
The 2 RJ-45 Gigabit ports are combo ports, meaning they can be operated either with a copper connection or with a fiber connection. You can insert SFP modules and build up a long-distance connection (NVR, Internet access)
The FGSD-1022VHP has a 120W PoE power output budget and the LCD screen can give you real-time information on the status of each connected device.
The switch is well adapted to small CCTV installations, for example a combination of indoor cameras with or without day/night vision or PTZ outdoor cameras with heated housings, which demand more resources.
Aside from the PoE+ functions, the PLANET FGSD-1022VHP has a micro switch. You can select the ''VLAN mode'' and isolate each port of the connected cameras, to improve the image flows transferred to the recorders, or select the ''Extended mode'', if you need to build up an up to 250-m connection over copper Ethernet cable. For this latter mode, we recommend that you use solid-wire category 6 cable with RJ-45 field connectors.

The PLANET IGS-10020TP was designed for IP and Hot-spot installation, indoor and outdoors.

The 2 dual-speed fiber ports and layer 2+ advanced management functions provide smooth video and data flows. The 8 PoE ports make it simple to install CCTV networks and wireless communication in places where there is a lack of power outlets.

The switch supports Watchdog function, which automatically reboots idle PoE devices, thus preventing
the hassle of sending a technician on site for maintenance each time a camera is down.

In addition, the programming schedule makes it possible to setup the powering on/off of connected PoE devices. For example, you can disable the wireless APs during the night, whilst keeping the IP camera activated, preventing any intruder to use your wireless network during the night without compromising your CCTV network.
The switch is also equipped with the usual layer 2+ features, such as VLAN, IGMP, Spanning Tree, QoS, and can be remotely accessed, in-band (web/SNMP) and out-band (RS-232 protocol)
